North Break Study Lounge & The Game Room

Conveniently located in Seventh College West, Building 3, North Break Study Lounge and The Game Room provide Seventh College students with a place to study, relax, and meet with friends.

Hours of Operation

North Break: Daily from 8:00 AM-10:00 PM

Game Room: Daily from 8:00 AM-10:00 PM
Equipment Check-Out: Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-6:00 PM

No food or drinks allowed in North Break or The Game Room. 
Masking will be required in accordance with current COVID-19 protocols.

North Break Study Lounge

North Break provides quiet study space for residents and commuters. North Break features large, casual open seating at tables and booths for individual study, and three private collaboration rooms for group meetings.

The Game Room

The Game Room provides a friendly, relaxing atmosphere where residents and commuters can unwind and socialize. The space is equipped with a pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, air hockey, video games and TVs. All games are free for students.

Game Room Equipment Check-Out

Video game systems, games, and equipment are available for check-out Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM-6:00 PM from the Residence Life Front Desk located on the second floor of Seventh College West, Building 2. 

  • Seventh College students are required to provide their first name, last name, student PID, campus email and phone number in exchange for one gaming item. 
  • Equipment must be returned by the person who checked them out during regular business hours.

Commuter Student Access Request Form

Registered Seventh College students who do not live within Seventh College and wish to access North Break and The Game Room will need to register for annual access.  Upon receipt of your request, you will be contacted to have access added to your student ID card.

Students must have a valid student ID. Students from outside of Seventh College will not be granted access unless they are a Seventh College resident.

Seventh College Garden

Located on the Seventh College West Lawn, the Seventh College Garden has outdoor tables for casual study or meeting up with friends and is reservable by Seventh College student organizations and groups for meetings or events.  The garden is maintained by Photosynthesis, a Seventh College student organization.  For more information on getting involved in Photosynthesis, visit Seventh College Student Organizations & Groups website.
