At Seventh College, our vision is to transform society by equipping the next generation of scholars, leaders and innovators with the tools to confront the challenges posed by our changing planet. The killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery have reinforced a collective sense of shock, anger, uncertainty, and grief, pointedly demonstrating that racism and racial inequality are among the most pressing challenges we face. We recognize that this is a difficult time for students, especially our Black students, and we affirm the statement issued by the University.

It is only as a community, acting together, with courage and compassion, that we will have the wisdom and strength to bring about lasting and meaningful change. Our team at Seventh College is committed to listening, learning, and standing in solidarity.
