Moving Into Seventh College

We are excited to welcome you to your new residence at Seventh College for the 2024 - 2025 academic year! Please review the information below to help prepare you for a smooth and successful move-in.

 

Your Seventh Space

Welcome to your space at Seventh! In our all-apartment based community, there are a number of amenities provided for you in your apartment common spaces and bedrooms. Please see the details below so that you can coordinate with your apartment-mates upon move-in.

Every Seventh Apartment comes with:

  • A kitchen space with a dining table, chairs, sink, fridge, stovetop, oven, and trash and recycling bins.
  • A common space with a couch, coffee table, lamp, with some spaces having additional chairs.
  • A bathroom with at least one shower, one toilet, and a sink area with cabinets (some apartments have more than one shower or toilet - please check exact floor plans on our Living at Seventh page).
  • A combination of single, double, and triple bedrooms. Each student will have a bed, closet, desk, desk chair, and trashcan as a part of their bedspace assignment.
  • A regular weekly cleaning service provided by our custodial team. They will clean common areas (kitchen, common space, bathroom) and provide toilet paper and trash bags.

Seventh Apartments DO NOT come with:

  • Microwaves
  • Kitchen utensils or other appliances
  • Vacuums

Mailing to Your Campus Address:

While you are provided with your mailbox number through the Housing Portal on HDH's website or your Qwik Pass, please note that packages will not arrive to the Seventh College Parcel Center until the week of September 23, 2024. Student packages will remain at the Main Campus Mailroom until then.

We advise that you send any important documents and medications to your permanent residence FIRST and pack those items prior  to moving into Seventh. You will be sent your mailbox number and code via your student email.

NOTE: DO NOT MAIL ANY PACKAGES TO THE SEVENTH COLLEGE DEPARTMENT MAIL CODE! WE WILL NOT PICK UP YOUR PACKAGE FOR YOU & YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE RETURNED TO SENDER.

Seventh College Amazon Locker Information

When adding the Seventh Amazon lockers, follow these steps:

  • Log into Amazon & go to your delivery options.
  • Select "Add new pick up location".
  • Select Amazon Locker - Village. The address will be 9450 Gilman Dr, at UCSD the Village Bldg 2 - Village, La Jolla, CA 92092 - 0100.

If it does not allow you to send any items, that may be due to the lockers being full. At that time
either send the package to another locker location, your personal mailing address, or try again
at a later time.
