Seventh College Commencement 

Graduates may participate in only one Commencement year but are permitted and encouraged to attend both All Campus Commencement and their college, graduate school, or graduate division ceremonies.

Students with at least 135 units by the end of Winter 2026 who will complete their degree by Fall 2025, Winter 2026, Spring 2026, Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 are eligible to register for All Campus Commencement and undergraduate college commencements. 

All Campus Commencement is open to eligible students across the seven Colleges, and will feature a keynote speaker. Chancellor Pradeep K. Khosla and other campus leadership will recognize graduates at this campuswide celebration.

College Commencements will be held at various times over the Commencement weekend either Saturday or Sunday. Each college commencement will include various speakers and students will have the opportunity to hear their names read as they walk across the stage.

All ceremonies will be livestreamed and the link will be added on the date of the ceremony to the commencement website.

Registration and Commencement information can be found at https://commencement.ucsd.edu. Registration willl open on March 31st, 2026 and close on May 29th, 2026. Student must register to participate in Seventh College's Commencement Ceremony.

Commencement Student Speaker

Apply to speak at the Seventh College Graduation Ceremony! Remarks should be limited to 5 minutes. A panel of staff will select the student speaker. Students must be in good academic standing to be considered.

To apply, submit a draft copy of your proposed remarks to seventhprovost@ucsd.edu before April 10th, 2026 at 11:59 PM (PDT).  Please be sure to include your name, PID, and a telephone number in your submission email.  Applications will be reviewed and candidates may be invited to audition before a panel of staff before final selection is determined. 

UCSD Alumni Outstanding Senior Award

Each year the UCSD Alumni Association presents this award to an outstanding senior from each of the University's Undergraduate Colleges for outstanding contribution to the campus community through active involvement with the College and the University. Highlight your outstanding contribution to the campus community through active involvement with Seventh College and the UC San Diego. 

We will have a virtual name booklet available to view for graduating students and guests of students. Please be sure to register for commencement and select "opt in" to have your name features in the virtual booklet by the deadline of May 1st, 2026 at commencement.ucsd.edu
