Transfer Orientation is designed specifically to assist you in learning about the resources available at UC San Diego, connect you with other incoming students, and smooth your transition into Seventh College and UCSD.
New Seventh College students are required to participate in a two-part college orientation experience.
Offered in early August, this mandatory webinar will be Part I of your Seventh College Orientation experience. Seventh College Academic Advisors will provide information on how to prepare for Fall Quarter enrollment and answer your academic questions. A student panel will also be available to share advice on how to approach your first quarter at UC San Diego.
The International Services and Engagement Office (ISEO) is excited to welcome you to UC San Diego! New International Student Orientation is designed to help orient you to the UC San Diego campus community, inform you of your F1/J1 rights & responsibilities, and give you an opportunity to connect with other new international students!
Black, Latinx and Native American Family Orientation is a voluntary program designed to share information about the UC San Diego student experience from a culturally informed lens. Participants will be able to engage with other incoming families, learn about campus resources, and get familiar with the campus. This orientation program is open to all incoming students and their families, regardless of race, color, national origin, or any other protected status.
Learn to thrive on campus and in the backcountry through Outback Adventures Wilderness Orientation (WO). WO is the best way for incoming students to prepare for life at UCSD. You will make new friends, participate in cool outdoor activities, explore beautiful places and get the inside scoop on life at UCSD.
The Summer Transfer Enrichment Program (STEP) prepares incoming Triton Transfers for success in their transfer to UCSD. This program designed exclusively for incoming transfer students by providing a variety ways they can connect with information, resources, and each other, all before stepping onto campus for the first time in September.
Interested in meeting with a current UC San Diego transfer student? Make a coaching appointment through the Triton Transfer Hub. Transfer Peers support transfer students' academic, personal, and professional success and are available over the summer and throughout the academic year.
