Transfer Orientation is designed specifically to assist you in learning about the resources available at UC San Diego, connect you with other incoming students, and smooth your transition into Seventh College and UCSD.
New Seventh College students are required to participate in a two-part college orientation experience.
If you are a new International Student, additional programs may be required. iOrientation is designed to help orient you to the UC San Diego campus community, inform you of your F1/J1 rights & responsibilities, and give you an opportunity to connect with other new international students.
Separate from the mandatory college orientations, this family orientation weekend delivers tailored programming for Black, Latinx, and Native American students and their families.
Learn to thrive on campus and in the backcountry through Outback Adventure's Wilderness Orientation (WO). This supplemental orientation program will help you learn life skills, make lasting friendships, and unplug before starting school at UCSD.
